EVM Chain Development — Launch Your Own Public Mainnet

Your own network, running existing Solidity contracts unchanged, with the tools your developers already use — MetaMask, Hardhat, Foundry.

What EVM compatibility buys you

The EVM is the Ethereum Virtual Machine, the engine that executes Ethereum smart contracts. A compatible network understands the same instructions, so Solidity contracts move across and run without a single line changed.

The real advantage is the ecosystem. Users connect with the MetaMask they already have. Developers work in Hardhat and Foundry they already know. Thousands of Ethereum libraries and services work immediately. Building on a bespoke architecture instead means rebuilding every one of those tools yourself.

Decisions the network design requires

Chain ID

A globally unique network identifier that prevents a transaction on one chain being replayed on another. We check availability and register it so wallets and tooling recognise your network.

Native gas token

The asset used to pay transaction fees, equivalent to ETH on Ethereum. You define its name, symbol, initial supply and distribution.

Consensus mechanism

Proof of Authority suits networks where every validator is a known entity — fast, resource-light, appropriate for enterprises and early stages. Proof of Stake lets anyone validate by staking collateral, which is more decentralised and better for public networks that need long-term credibility.

Validator count and placement

Validator count affects both security and speed. Too few invites capture; too many slows agreement. Geographic placement matters too, because it determines inter-node latency. We size this against your real transaction volume and user base.

Delivered with the network

The question to answer before starting

Your own network is worth it when there is a clear reason — controlling transaction costs for your users, keeping data private, or transaction volume high enough that public chain gas has become an unbearable cost. If the requirement is simply a token and a modest application, an existing chain is far cheaper in both money and time, because a private network carries ongoing operational cost and has to build trust from zero. We will say so directly if we assess that you are not at that threshold yet.

How we work

  1. Fit assessmentWhether your own network is genuinely better value than an existing chain.
  2. Network parameter designChain ID, gas token, consensus, block time, block size and validator topology.
  3. Genesis and testnetEstablish the first block and open a test network for real use.
  4. Supporting infrastructureExplorer, RPC, faucet, bridge and DEX.
  5. Load and resilience testingVerify real transaction throughput and rehearse node failure scenarios.
  6. Mainnet launch and operationsGo live with 24/7 monitoring and an agreed SLA.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

A production network with full supporting infrastructure typically takes four to eight weeks. Specific requirements such as bridges to multiple chains or unusual consensus arrangements extend that.

How many servers are needed?

It depends on validator count and availability requirements. A starting network commonly runs three to five nodes across regions, plus servers for RPC and the explorer. We size and provision it.

How do users connect?

They add the network to MetaMask with a handful of settings, or with a single button on your site. We build the one-click connection and register the network in public chain registries so wallets recognise it.

Can we migrate existing contracts?

Immediately, for any Solidity contract targeting the EVM — simply redeploy, no code changes. Migrating existing state and data needs planning, which we handle.

Can we keep the transaction fees?

Yes. You define the entire fee structure — near-zero, actually zero, or routed to a project treasury. It is one of the main advantages of running your own network.

Is a block explorer included?

Yes. Blockchain explorer development is part of the network delivery, not a separate engagement. Users can search transactions, blocks, addresses and tokens as they would on Etherscan, including contract source verification.

Can you deploy nodes only?

Yes. If you already have a network and need additional validator or RPC nodes, we handle installation, configuration, monitoring and backup without taking on the whole project.

Layer 1 or Layer 2 — which should we choose?

A Layer 1 is an independent network with its own validators and security. A Layer 2 sits on top of an existing network to cut fees and raise throughput, borrowing security from the layer beneath. Choose Layer 1 for full control with your own validator set; choose Layer 2 to stay inside an existing ecosystem at lower cost. We build both and will help you assess which fits.
